I have been a theater-actor for over 25 years now and love to tell you about the amazing Golden Age of Holland in the 1600’s. Lots of amazing, funny and incredible stories. And all this intertwined with my own life as a Dutchman in the 21st century. From being a dutch boy wearing wooden shoes and sleeping in a bed-closet , up to my life as an actor playing the room-mate of Anne Frank in a theater performance.

The Tours
For best experiences my groups are with 6 people or less. Minimum age is 6 years and older. Tours can be booked during weekdays. Weekends are on request.

The Amsterdam Windmills, Cheese and Chocolate Tour
We meet at Cafe Kobalt across of Central Station. You can carpool with me for free to Zaandijk in my car , we then walk over the bridge towards the windmills Zaanse Schans. From there we will visit:
– Zaandijk town
– Zaanse Schans village
– Chocolate Shop
– Historic Windmills
– Cheese Tasting Farm
– Old Dutch Candy Store
– Wooden Shoes Workshop (Dutch clogs)

The Million Tulips and Windmills tour (Spring only)

From there we will travel to:
– Keukenhof Gardens (tickets are not included) where we can enjoy 7 million flowers and smell the most intoxicating scents, 80 acres of flowers.
– Then we leave the gardens and look for the flower fields and take some pictures there.
– After we will go the area of the windmills where we will visit a windmill inside and experience the intimidating power of the wind.
– We do a chocolate stop to taste some Dutch fudgy brownies and home made cocoa.
– We visit a wooden shoe workshop and see what happens when you blow into a wooden shoe 😉
